Wot? edit

No picture?

Funny how articles on flagellation and genital piercings never want for highly graphic illustrations here on Wikipedia, but those on more mundane subjects do. Maikel (talk) 19:55, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Quite right - have added request notice above.--194.106.220.83 (talk) 09:38, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
It seems to have a photo now, so I'll remove the notice. --Woodardj (talk) 14:30, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Whatever illustration was there has disappeared again. Picture still needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.102.60.42 (talk) 09:03, 14 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

References edit

At first blush there are several footnotes, but they all appear empty. Not sure what the best way to proceed on that would be, whether I'm missing something, they should simply be stripped, others want to fill in the blanks, etc.Czrisher (talk) 17:09, 4 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

How is this different from a Bun (hairstyle)? edit

I see no appreciable difference, other than the naming of the style. If anyone knows what makes a chignon not just a bun, by all means, please add such a description to both of the articles. -- Eiríkr ÚtlendiTala við mig 17:37, 13 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Aung San Suu Kyi edit

Is the sentence about her really necessary? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.233.179.81 (talk) 02:01, 26 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

It certainly doesn't belong in the lead section (WP:lead). I removed it from the article, but I'll leave it here in case somebody comes up with a good argument why the information should be included (somewhere else) in the article.

Burmese democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi is known for her chignon.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.142.121.180 (talk) 00:04, 23 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
