At first blush there are several footnotes, but they all appear empty. Not sure what the best way to proceed on that would be, whether I'm missing something, they should simply be stripped, others want to fill in the blanks, etc.Czrisher (talk) 17:09, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
How is this different from a Bun (hairstyle)? edit
I see no appreciable difference, other than the naming of the style. If anyone knows what makes a chignon not just a bun, by all means, please add such a description to both of the articles. -- Eiríkr Útlendi │ Tala við mig 17:37, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

- It certainly doesn't belong in the lead section (WP:lead). I removed it from the article, but I'll leave it here in case somebody comes up with a good argument why the information should be included (somewhere else) in the article.
