Chief Medical Officer, United States redirects to Surgeon General of the United States, a public health offical, not "a senior physician that manages a hospital or healthcare institution". Please clarify. Unsigned by User:193.225.234.97 13:01, 7 August 2008

Can you fix it? Snowman (talk) 13:08, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am not sure that Chief Medical Officer, United States really means "a senior physician that manages a hospital or healthcare institution". Maybe it is really a synonym for Surgeon General. Someone from the US should fix the inconsistency. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.99.174.17 (talk) 18:21, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The link to "Surgeon General" is junk! The term CMO does exist in US hospital administration. And the Surgeon General isn't it. I don't know enough to create a page, but someone should. 99.11.160.111 (talk) 05:18, 26 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
