Talk:Chibombo bus crash

Title edit

The article is about the fact, not about the title. We don't need to describe what our arbitrary choice of title is. μηδείς (talk) 23:10, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

MOS:BOLDTITLE says the title should be included and bolded if "it can be accommodated in normal English". This can easily be accommodated in normal English, so it should be included and bolded. Ryan Vesey 23:13, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
How is this different in any way from "inaugural games of the Flavian Amphitheatre"? Ryan Vesey 23:20, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
That example contains no redundancy. Conversely, this article's lead stated that a bus crash was a collision involving a bus. —David Levy 01:35, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
I can't argue against that, specifically the WP:SBE link you included in the hidden note. Ryan Vesey 02:46, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Chibombo in Africa edit

Is there a way to get a Zambia in Africa map followed by a Chibombo in Zambia map? While I understand the reasoning for the change, it really doesn't offer much information since the dot for Chibombo is about as big as Lesotho. What I'd really like to get is a map of Chibombo in relation to Ndola and Lusaka. Ryan Vesey 21:59, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • I made this, but it got removed in favour of the continental map. I'd be in favour of you restoring it. (I'd do it myself, but I generally elect not to directly revert another users edits in favour of my own). I find the continental map both useless (for the reason cited above), and slightly insulting to the reader. The Zambia article is there for people who want to know about the country.
You can edit the map if you want to include Ndola, those I chose not to as it's quite far north. --LukeSurl t c 22:28, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
