Semi-protected edit request on 31 January 2022 edit

There are SO many grammatical errors in the last subject about her death (i.e. last few sentences). Please respect her name and her legacy by fixing these issues. This is a very difficult subject, but the least you editors can do is make it grammatically correct. Thanks. 2600:1000:B150:CE09:F1FD:91B5:49CC:A168 (talk) 03:48, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 19:10, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sources 30-32 do not state that Kryst left a suicide note. That sentence should be removed or properly cited. LeonardML (talk) 01:26, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wrong floor edit

news reports that she jumped from some terrace on the 29th floor, but that she LIVED on the 9th. 2601:19C:5280:5BA7:A58D:A9B9:8013:6F85 (talk) 01:27, 2 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

ok, that's better (whoever fixed it). but if the 29th has been confirmed, that should added back. current version kind of implies she jumped from the 60th. 2601:19C:5280:5BA7:A58D:A9B9:8013:6F85 (talk) 02:03, 2 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
ok, but now where did "9th" go?! why can't it say BOTH, like the sources do? something like "lived on the 9th floor of the 60 floor building, but is believed to have jumped from the 29th." 2601:19C:5280:5BA7:A58D:A9B9:8013:6F85 (talk) 05:43, 4 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Because we report facts, without listing every detail. No source has said precisely what floor she leapt from, and, in biographies with deaths of a sensitive nature, we never speculate. Wyliepedia @ 17:19, 4 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
huh? the "29th" is IN there! i'm asking about the "9th" part, which was removed from prior versions. 2601:19C:5280:5BA7:A58D:A9B9:8013:6F85 (talk) 10:21, 6 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Incorrectly states Cheslie Kryst won the Miss Universe 2019 contest edit

In the "Miss Universe 2019" section, this article states that Cheslie Kryst "won" the contest: "She represented the United States at Miss Universe 2019, and won on December 8, 2019."

This is incorrect, as the linked article to the Miss Universe 2019 contest confirms. I am not sure what was meant by 'won' here but it should say something like 'participated' or at most 'placed in the top 10' instead of 'won'. 131.226.36.120 (talk) 21:07, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Move content regarding Miss USA reign to Miss USA 2019 section edit

The Miss Universe 2019 section of this page includes 2 sentences about the Miss Universe competition (first 2 sentences). The rest are about the duration of her reign as Miss USA. It is misleading to reference the duration of her 'reign' in the Miss Universe 2019 section as it implies being the reigning Miss Universe, which she was not.

It would be better organized and more accurate to move all but the first 2 sentences of the Miss Universe 2019 section to the Miss USA 2019 section, after the existing text there. 131.226.36.120 (talk) 21:13, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
