Lengthy quote edit

I think the Saadat Noury text ("A Note on the History of Chelow Kebab" section) is too lengthy, it's more like mirroring the text, rather than incorporating it into our own writing. I'm removing it, as it's more a copy-paste than a quote (which is supposed to be brief). Note, however, that the original source is no longer accessible (and the site's root URL is password-protected), and it isn't available via archive.org. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:20, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

spelling and pronunciation edit

Is is possible to change the spelling of this Article's Name?

In the word Chelow, given that the [low] sound is preceded by [che] sound it is actually read as: [chelao]... as in how the word [cow] is read.

The best spelling suggestion is 'cheloe' or just 'chelo' (although the second does not do justice to the actual pronunciation).

There is a source here (http://www.iranchamber.com/recipes/articles/history_of_chelo_kabab.php) which has a nice photo and can teach Wikipedia volunteers how to write this article. --176.239.163.4 (talk) 10:24, 24 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
