Chatr vs. Chat-r edit
I have removed references to "Chat-r" since this name is not used in company communication nor news stories. While there is a dash/triangle between the "t" and "r" in the company's logo, that doesn't necessarily mean the name includes that punctuation. French name edit
I've never heard a francophone pronounce the name as "Shatre". Is there any supporting evidence for this? Jurjenb (talk) 03:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)

Changes to chatr edit
Hi, this is Chris from Rogers Communications' social media team. There are some changes that we'd like to suggest to this article.
chatr is now available nation-wide in 200 new cities. Previously, it was offered in 7 markets in Canada.[1]
Garrick Tiplady is not currently Senior Vice President. Raj Doshi can be listed instead, he is quoted in chatr's most recent press release. His title is executive vice-president, Rogers Communications.[2]
chatr's new tagline is “Let’s Get Going”[3] which replaces "No Worries, Talk Happy"
New data buckets can be added to plans $35 and up. Customers on the $35 and $40 prepaid plans can add 500 MB for $10, 1 GB for $15, or the new 2 GB add-on for $25.[4]

- I've noticed this from looking at store signage. Thanks for disclosing your implication with Rogers to avoid a conflict of interest. I'm planning to edit in a neutral and unbiased way, without letting my involvement with TV Rogers interfere. This new Chatr seems to be a response to Telus Mobility's moves. Koodo changed its slogan from "Good call." to "Choose happy." Public Mobile changed from an indie carrier to a Telus-owned self-serve brand. I'll look at these new Chatr changes and adapt them in the article. --True Tech Talk Time (talk) 04:16, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Can't cite undocumented fee edit
I added the following line but I am unable to cite since I cannot find any online reference to this 20¢/minute fee that applies to all customers, however I confirmed it by calling a Chatr agent. I feel that this was important to include since most people expect outgoing "310" calls to be toll-free (or considered a local call) anywhere in Canada. I checked here and can't find citing instructions for cases like this.
- "Outgoing calls to "310" numbers (such as 310-0001 for Panago Pizza or 310-SHAW for Shaw Cablesystems) – which are treated as local calls by most wireless carriers – are not included in any Chatr plan and are charged at the rate of 20¢ per minute."
