editThe first reference cited for this article is an out of print book published by a historian of the Lombron, Sarthe (France) mayor's office. It was written in the late 1950's and the original can be found in the Maire de Lombron. Much of the information relating to the events from 1940 to the present was verified through interviews of individuals who lived through the era and we're intimately involved with the history.
