The Legacy section seems out of place after References. I could move it, but I note a likely typo in the Legacy section. I could fix it, but not without a ref. Neither sentence is referenced, so it may be easier to remove the section. Alternatively, find a source, correct the spelling and the location.--SPhilbrick T 23:06, 20 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ambassador to Brazil edit

Members of the Northern/Boston branch of Dabney's: John Bass Dabney (1766-1826), Charles William Dabney (1794-1871), and Samuel Wyllys Dabney (1826-1893), served as the first, second, and third consuls for the Azores. Additionally, John Pomeroy Dabney (1822-1874) was a consul to Prussia. The Southern/Virginia branch of Dabney's produced Thomas Ewing Dabney (1885-1969), who served as a consul to Salvador and quit the diplomatic service in 1911 becoming a journalist. There is not the slightest evidence of Charles William Dabney, Jr., (1855-1945) serving as an ambassador to Brazil. --Taterian (talk) 03:13, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
