The Bathing House - Howick Hall edit

I thought that this might be useful link, the bathing house was built by the 2nd Earl as a holiday house for sea bathing...for the use of his 16 children

A second website , also of relevance would be Howick hall [2] and here [3] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.21.32.133 (talk) 19:53, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Earl Grey edit

There are two rival Wikipedia articles on this man: the present one and Earl Grey. What should be done about this? Tim riley (talk) 17:06, 13 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Nothing. The Earl Grey article refers to the title, of which there have been 7 holders. 80.68.32.198 (talk) 11:40, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Why no slavery section? edit

This is the Prime Minister who ended slavery in the British Empire - it is a bit odd, to say the least, that this is ignored in the article about him. Is slavery considered less important than affairs Earl Grey had? 2A02:C7F:96F6:5300:F465:34B2:A9A3:51F8 (talk) 21:15, 27 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'd say the reason that there isn't a slavery section is that the wikilinks lead to other articles which deal with the history of the abolition in slavery in some depth, whereas the info about his personal relationships would not be covered elsewhere (although that unreferenced section definitely needs attention!). The abolition of slavery is mentioned in the first sentence and in the body, so that seems to me to be sufficient coverage; after all, Grey did not bring about this bill single-handedly - it was a long process, with many others involved.
