Whitespace edit

On my screen there's literally two whole screen depths of whitespace because of the basically unused table of contents. I suggest the TOC is limited. I am not aware of anyone who actually navigates articles by the TOC, and just because it's a list, it doesn't need a TOC at that level at all. "basically unused" is a huge assumption, and one that I consider incorrect; a table of contents is particularly useful in list articles, especially for readers who are looking for the description of a specific character. It's certainly a lot easier to read a table of contents than scroll through the 24 sub-sections of prose on the Van der Linde gang, for example. That being said, hopefully this is a fair compromise. – Rhain 13:10, 23 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Rhain, Maybe you can implement this Template:Compact ToC. With the table of contents disabled. ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 14:06, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Or you can use this Template:OnelinerTOC. Which will require extra work. ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 14:08, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@CAPTAIN MEDUSA: I’m not sure how either of those would work; compact is intended for alphabetical lists, and oneliner would be even more crowded than the existing version. – Rhain 20:53, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Maybe as this? Rhain.~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 22:35, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
This could work. ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 10:29, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Lordtobi how does this work? diff do I need to subst the template or add a magic word.~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 10:30, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
I considered it, but it’s prohibited on mainspace articles, and thus does not work. – Rhain 10:39, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Happy with the current implementation. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 10:51, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Format is wrong edit

The game does not include pictures of the actual game characters and instead focuses actors.

The section is supposed to on the characters that make up the game not the actors who play them. I don't understand if this is a fair use issue but maybe an editor can fix the issues and make this more informative and less biographical 72.139.206.192 (talk) 12:51, 23 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

There's an image of the characters in the first section; individual images for each character would be a gross violation of Wikipedia's non-free content policies. The sections are about the characters and their development and portrayal, so pictures of the actors are more than appropriate. Regardless, adding more pictures of fictional characters does not make an article "more informative". – Rhain 13:08, 23 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Davey edit

No idea how to use Wikipedia but they forgot Davey on there !! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.156.195.83 (talk) 07:50, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

I assume you're referring to Davey Callender. This is not an exhaustive list, so it's not meant to name all characters in the game—not that Davey is much of a character anyway, considering he is dead in his first and only appearance. Rhain (he/him) 11:07, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
