The recently added citation for the speaker figures appears to be self-published. Moreover the relevant part (p6) says:
"Teochew is spoken natively by roughly 10 million in China and two to five million overseas, according to Vietnamese Wikipedia."
Of course viwiki is no more reliable than enwiki, but it's worse than that. These figures were added to viwiki in 2006 without a citation, copied from enwiki, where they were added in 2005. The referencing is completely circular. Kanguole 09:58, 20 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
