Article name edit

Shouldn't we call this Chanuyot in line with the rule that Sepharidic hebrew is used for general Jewish concepts? --Shirahadasha 22:39, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Should per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Hebrew) which is official WP policy. --Shirahadasha 16:29, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

I added one source (about the move of the Sanhedrin), but for the rest perhaps Shira wants to send an email to Dovid Teitelbaum (david@campsci.com), whose page is really not that bad (apart from the speculative assertion that the Al Aqsa incorporates the chanuyot ruins). Excuse me? edit

The Chanuyot were a storehouse? this must be a case of mistranslation - the word חנויות in hebrew is translated store - but not as in storehouse, but as in shops. Daniel Tzvi 21:58, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
