Total disclosure: I am an employee of the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra. The "history" section is an adaptation of material freely available on the new web site when it goes live. ARBettridge (talk) 19:29, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

The "history" section is now replaced by a section titled "Founding of the Orchestra" which is based on multiple sources, one of which contains the material found in the previous "history" section. That source is now available, in full, as reference 3: Roberts, Wyndham J. (1970).... (And, additional disclosure, I am not an employee of the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra.)
