Manufactured Quote edit

I can't find anything like the quote attributed to Eichmann in this article in the reference cited for it... "Testimony of Wilhelm Hoettl at the trial of Adolf Eichmann" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.119.205.88 (talk) 17:13, 12 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I agree, I can't find the quote anywhere in the referenced source. I did a brief search, and it seems that this quote is instead sourced from one of Hannah Arendt's "Eichmann in Jerusalem" articles, which can be accessed here: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/1963/02/16/eichmann-in-jerusalem-i.
The quote is not attributed to Eichmann, but to a Jewish official, who, according to Arendt, was invited to by Eichmann to inspect the Central Office's "assembly line" efficiency. 137.43.234.211 (talk) 17:43, 15 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
