References edit

I've spent some time reducing inline references to Wikipedia to Wikilinks. There may be more to do. One goes to the Ukraininan Wikipedia, which seems like an excellent opportunity to translate the article for the English Language one.

The external links section and the references section are, in this version now identical. The diligent work of the editors who added the references is to be applauded, and they were new here, so were unaware that this was not what was required. We truly need to references in reliable sources to make this article completely acceptable, please.

We also need the inline urls to point to pages in the English Wikipedia, assuming that they are notable. I suspect they are. A short term measure might be to transwiki link them to the Ukrainian Wikipedia. The format of that is [[:uk:local article name]]. The characters ":uk:" are important and make that link. Having advised that I am not 100% sure that this is within our rules, but that is the way it works at a technical level. Fiddle Faddle 07:49, 29 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
