Satellite dishes
editReceiving information from satillite is not restriced. There are a lot of satellite dishes on the buildings.
But connecting to the networks by satellite requires some hard_to_get licence. (Only one scientific research institute have it and have big satellite, but don't use it now). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vi2 (talk • contribs) 21:52, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Now I see that all satellite dishes is going to be restriced. _Vi (talk) 16:36, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Censorship in Belarus
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Censorship in Belarus's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "EJC":
- From Media of Belarus: Elena Kononova, Belarus, EJC Media Landscapes, circa 2010
- From Telecommunications in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Tarik Jusić, "Bosnia and Herzegovina", EJC Media Landscapes
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 23:11, 10 February 2016 (UTC)

Wikipedia editor arrested in Belarus for violating Russian law
edit"Prominent editor of Russian Wikipedia pages detained in Belarus," Yahoo.
"Authorities in Belarus have arrested and detained ... one of the top editors of Russian Wikipedia.... Bernstein was reportedly accused of violating the "fake news" law Russia passed in early March by editing the Wikipedia article about the invasion of Ukraine. Under the new law, anybody found guilty of what the country deems as false information about the Ukraine invasion — remember, the Kremlin calls it a "special military operation" — could be imprisoned for up to 15 years." --2603:7000:2143:8500:19EE:D8B5:8A85:4329 (talk) 06:20, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
