Someone changed a thing about The Secret Wiki... claiming that cedar falls != waverly... yet i never see waverly mentioned.-— Preceding unsigned comment added by Danlock2 (talkcontribs) 04:04, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

The reason I made that edit had to dowith t he fact that The Secret Wiki site (which is actually hard to find --- Google doens't seeem to think it is notable --http://www.google.com/search?q=secret+wiki&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official) States that "The Secret History" is an exibition at Wartburg, in Waverly, not in Cedar Falls. (http://www.thesecrethistory.org/index.php/Main_Page) I would also argue that "The Secret History" is not notable. I live in CF, and have never heard of it, google does not seem to think it is notable : (http://www.google.com/search?q=the+secret+history&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official) It takes until page 5 on the google search to find a reference to it. I would make the argument that an display in Waverly belongs on the Cedar Falls page no more than it does on the Waterloo page -- in fact it would be like putting an exhibit at UNI ont he waterloo page -- irrelevent. I also follow that argument up with stating this inclusion is not notable. 24.149.23.119 12:31, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

okay, that is valid,--Danlock2 17:10, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
I disagree and put it back--with modifications. Google DOES think it is notable, providing you use search terms which make sense: (http://www.google.com/search?q=The+Secret+History+of+the+Cedar+Valley). The text no longer mentions the exhibit, but the website which sprang from the exhibit and is the result of many months of research into Cedar Falls musicians, bands, promoters, clubs, and record labels. It documents the underground music scene in Cedar Falls. It's an important part of CF culture and I'll stand by its notability.Cecilkleakins (talk) 19:11, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
