Tone Flag

edit

I have flagged the page for tone editing, many sections such as character descriptions are written in a way that isn’t exactly encyclopaedic, and reads more like a review or essay on the film. I am not best positioned to edit the page myself and determine what needs cleaning up and how it should be formatted. 180.150.57.33 (talk) 16:20, 20 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Max was based on Erich von Stroheim's Max von Mayerling, not Frankenstein's Monster.

edit

Tsk, Tsk, Somebody didn't do their homework. I deleted the "resembling Boris Karloff's portrayal of Frankenstein's Monster" and replaced it with Erich von Stroheim's Max von Mayerling from Sunset Boulevard and included references. Someone didn't do their homework eh? How predictable of a Wikipedia contributor to know very little about the articles they edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.174.16.145 (talk) 18:17, 17 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Beneluxe

edit

If you are going to insert that "Benelux" means "Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg" in an article that only uses the term once, you might as well just save time and spell it all out up front. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.149.67.121 (talk) 16:15, 1 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
