removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV edit

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 02:38, 27 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Requested move 30 October 2016 edit

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Not moved - According to WP:NCA, acronyms should be used as disambiguators. I am closing this without relisting because it isn't going to change anything and, according to closing instructions, if the request is in conflict with any policy or guideline, it "should be closed without moving regardless of how many of the participants support it". Catholic League (U.S.)Catholic League (United States) – As most subjects and articles related to the United States. No reason for acronym here, not a nominal entity attribution as such. Chicbyaccident (Please notify with {{SUBST:re}} (Talk) 09:04, 30 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Supportmost disambiguations use "United States" in full when the disambiguation is independently describing the article related to the United States. CookieMonster755 𝚨-𝛀 21:10, 30 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per Chicbyaccident and CookieMonster755. Sundayclose (talk) 21:44, 30 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support Clearer when spelling-out the acronym and I can't see a reason why not. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:34, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Prager, Medved, Lapin edit

I've removed the claims about Prager, Medved, and Lapin because Donohue is not a reliable source for claims about individuals other than himself. –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 16:05, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Revert edit

Restored a wikilink; I don't know who gave you the impression that each section can only have one link, or why (if you believe that) you'd remove only the link to Marcotte as opposed to virgin birth, murder etc. –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 16:07, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Roscelese, he was referring to WP:OVERLINK since Marcotte had already been linked in that same section, it is wholly unnecessary to do so a second time. Elizium23 (talk) 16:09, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Oh, of course! Sorry about that. Clearly I need a little more coffee throughout the day... –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 20:17, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
