Played in Glasgow by Ged O'Brien (ISBN 978 0 954744 557) says that Thirds initially played at a ground off Victoria Road before moving to Cathkin in 1875. I haven't read the Smith & Smith book, does it explicitly state that Thirds played at Cathkin from their formation? Jellyman (talk) 16:52, 19 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

The wording is "Initially no more than an open field when Third Lanark FC was formed in 1872, the ground had been sufficiently developed by 1885 to host three Scottish FA Cup finals." There is no reference to any previous stadiums, which are explicitly mentioned for other grounds. Number 5 7 17:07, 19 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
