I reverted the section "Castor oil as a tool of political terror" to the non-weasel words version. Is this seriously disputed? Do a web search for "castor" + "Mussolini" (or + "fascism" or + "d'Annunzio") and you'll find multiple descriptions. Two of many: Straight Dope site History learning site. - Ok perfect. The article has no references, so yes, in that case I dispute something that strongly worded without references. If you have that book with the reference or a well regarded external link, please use those to cite the facts involved. Still need to remove fascist thugs as POV and replace it with something a little more NPOV. I didn't do it only because I couldn't think of something better - Taxman 16:55, Dec 28, 2004 (UTC)

Castor Oil used by Franco? edit
I understand that Castor Oil was also used by Franco during and after the Spanish Civil War in much the same was as referred to here. Does that merit a mention? Timothy Chen Allen 19:24, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
The whole section dealing with "moisturizing your face" is not up to the standard of an encyclopedia. The first-person tone is stylistically wrong, and the topic is at best remote from the subject of castor oil.
Ambiguity edit
"Consumption of large amounts of castor oil (below lethal doses, such as one bottle)"
Unclear whether the writer intends to state that one bottle is the 'lethal dose', or the 'large amount of castor oil which is below a lethal dose'. An important distinction.
Water is lethal if you drink too much, what's your point? Get a life.
Medical Use edit
I wonder why Castor Oil is used in Surgical Spirit (2,5%)
Most likely due to the fact that (cold pressed) Castor oil (USP) is multi-purpose medicinal oil. See article Castor oil medicinal uses. Castoroil101 07:57, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
