it ignores what the CIM actailly states, which is that hi GL meals are the cause of obesity. There is no dispute concerning the CIM as a physiological fact. Jcdonelson (talk) 19:11, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- There is a dispute though. The mainstream view is that calorie intake being higher than expenditure is the cause of weight gain, regardless of the glycemic index/glycemic load/amount of carbohydrates consumed, etc. (t · c) buidhe 21:38, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
