Fair use rationale for Image:David Whitfield Cara Mia.jpg

Image:David Whitfield Cara Mia.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Irrelevance to Portal 2

Many different editors have added mention of the untitled song in Portal 2 which some have referred to as "Cara Mia". Please note that the Portal 2 song is an entirely different piece of music from the one this article is about, and does not officially have a title. Search online for a sample of David Whitfield's Cara Mia and you will see that the songs are not related. My current policy will be to continue to delete all Portal 2 mentions from this article on the grounds that the Portal 2 song is both unrelated and also untitled, but I invite discussion. —Bill Price (nyb) 16:21, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

I did try adding a note to the top of the page saying that this was not the Portal 2 song so no users made this mistake. It was, however, removed by a user who said it should be on the didambiguation page. I feel that it needs to be on this page however because users arn't noticing it on the disambiguation. Unless we include this, someone will probably have to keep on coming back to remove the Portal 2 sections. Oddbodz (talk) 21:33, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

At The Cafe WHA?

The reference to this album is incorrect. "At the Cafe Wha?" refers to "Live From the Cafe Wha? Greenwich Village New York", which, in addition to being a live album, was released in 1963, two years before Cara Mia was released (the discography page for Jay & The Americans confirms these release dates). The confusion may be from an album relesed in 1996, which is a combination of two previously released albums, Wha and Blockbusters, released in 2008. Also, the listings for this album do not indicate that Cara Mia was on it.

Rate your music (http://rateyourmusic.com/artist/jay_and_the_americans), as well as other sources, list Cara Mia on two albums in 1965, Blockbusters and Greatest Hits!, but indicates that both albums are compilation albums (I'm personnally not convinced that Blockbusters is a compilation album, but that is how it is listed). So either this song should be listed as a single only release, or as a new song on one of the compilation albums, but it is not on WHA.Atocha (talk) 10:43, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
