Proper Grammer edit

Will someone please rewrite this article so it doesn't look like it was written by a second grader? The grammer is horrible, as is the sentence structure.DurotarLord 13:45, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Name change edit

Should we change the name from "Captain Underpants and the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds)" to its correct name, "Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds)

First, please sign your comments from now on. Second, yes we most definetly should. DurotarLord 13:45, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Naughtycafeterialadies.jpg edit

Image:Naughtycafeterialadies.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Notability edit

Just curious how this book passes the notability criteria (WP:NOTABILITY?

The policy states that in order to be notable, one or more of the following conditions must have been met:

  • The book has been the subject[1] of multiple, non-trivial[2] published works whose sources are independent of the book itself,[3] with at least some of these works serving a general audience. This includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, other books, television documentaries and reviews. Some of these works should contain sufficient critical commentary to allow the article to grow past a simple plot summary. This excludes media re-prints of press releases, flap copy, or other publications where the author, its publisher, agent, or other self-interested parties advertise or speak about the book.[4]
  • The book has won a major literary award.
  • The book has been considered by reliable sources to have made a significant contribution to a notable motion picture, or other art form, or event or political or religious movement.
  • The book is the subject of instruction at multiple elementary schools, secondary schools, colleges/universities or post-graduate programs in any particular country.[5]
  • The book's author is so historically significant that any of his or her written works may be considered notable.[6]

Can someone advise how this book qualifies139.48.25.60

It passes criterion 1. It has been reviewed by Amazon.com, Publishers Weekly, School Library Journal, Booklist and Kirkus Reviews. Fearstreetsaga (talk) 04:58, 27 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

=Reliable source on title? edit

I am concerned that there may not be reliable sources indicating that the title of this book is ever truly abbreviated to merely "Captain Underpants and the Invasion". If there is indeed no such reliable source, then it would be necessary to retitle this article. Please advise. Botterweg14 (talk) 00:45, 28 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
