Pronunciation request edit

Any chance of a recording of the pronunciation please? Given the contrast between what it looks like to non-natives, and what the IPA suggests, I feel that it would be helpful and improve access. I can't do it myself – you would injure yourself falling off your chair laughing, and we do not want that. Best to all, DBaK (talk) 20:24, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Too much detail?? edit

At the moment we say: It was a coal mining village from 1862 to week ending 20 April 1968 when Cambois Colliery closed. Yes, I know we're an encyclopaedia but do we, or should we, really care about it being w/e 20/04/68 rather than just 1968? I don't have a strong position on this but I did think it read a little oddly ... what do you think? DBaK (talk) 20:34, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
