Talk:Calcutta Mathematical Society

Latest comment: 14 years ago by C.Fred

Dear Administrator,

I created the article Calcutta Mathematical Society and it was deleted because of copyright issues and similarities with the site [1]. I would like to clarify it as follows.

1. I am the author of the site [2] and hence possess the right of sharing the contents. 2. The site bears a CC-BY-SA license now, and one can check it at the bottom of the homepage. 3. I will like to share the contents freely with the Wikipedia, and hence enlist the article that I submitted earlier.

Please let me know if there are any questions. Thank you.

Please review the guidelines regarding conflicts of interest. You will need to make sure that all the claims in the article are backed up by independent reliable sources. Remember also that the text must be written in neutral point of view, and other editors are free to make such corrections as are necessary to comply. —C.Fred (talk) 21:05, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I think I got the Idea. I shall rewrite the article in a modified pattern, and from an unbiased point of view as well. Thank you for your guidance.

This version, at first glance, looks better. However, it should use references from independent sources, not sources published by the society, wherever possible. —C.Fred (talk) 05:34, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
