The name Calcot edit

Is Calcot even a village? edit
The article says "now a suburb of Reading"- should the intro not describe it as a suburb of Reading rather than as a village? Isaachhh (talk) 18:50, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

- This isn't a deletion discussion. I think it's perfectly reasonable to use examples of other articles about similar things to suggest changing the language of an article. Isaachhh (talk) 16:53, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
- Calcot was (is) a village in its own right before being swallowed up by Reading whereas Lower Early is a recently built suburb of Earley and intended as such. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 17:12, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
