whereas cmudict.0.7a (~1MB file) says:

That change was introduced in revision 8122 in the cmusphinx subversion repository during the development of version 0.7a. This is a 2-clause BSD license, which applies to the versions after that point. Prior versions have the license text from 00README_FIRST.txt, so those are in the Public Domain. 85.210.104.150 (talk) 12:20, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
