I can't read the now second citation in the lede. Does it discuss the French original or Leclerq's English translation? This source offers praise for both and confirms (again) the Prix Brentano so it might be of some use in confirming one or the other (whichever is missing). There's also a source from the New York Times about the award but my GoogleBooks was playing up. Cheers, Stalwart111 04:08, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- It confirms the Prix Brentano. The existence of the French and English versions really doesn't need verification, and at any rate those are confirmed in later references. Funny--I couldn't read yours, so I found another Googled version. I tweaked it not just because of the formatting (and I saw your note, thanks) but also because the wikilink for one of the authors was a hockey player or a Republican Congressman or something like that. :) Drmies (talk) 05:16, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
- And thanks for that other link; I added it. Also funny, that same publication reported on Jeunes filles en serre chaude, another novel by the same author, whose article I just wrote up. - Hmm, not really surprised given the era. Glad there was some value in those links. There was something I saw that suggested Robert Luce, author from Massachusetts, was the same as Robert Luce, Republican Congressman and author from Massachusetts. But if it's not certain they are the same (or if there is any doubt, really) then de-link away (as you have). Cheers, Stalwart111 03:24, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
