I seemed to have trouble linking up this article to that for Quark, the TV series created by Buck Henry which ran in 1978. I must have done something wrong with the syntax, but I can't think what -- anyone know how to fix it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Michael Hopcroft (talkcontribs)

SNL edit

This seems to have a lot about SNL, which was presumably only a small part of his career. -- Beardo 17:15, 25 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Possibly, but in terms of sheer visibility, I'd certainly say it was the most notable part of it. I'd be surprised if the percentage of people who's primary familiarity with him is from SNL was much lower than 70 or 80. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.138.235.243 (talk) 00:53, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

What about SINA? edit

I recall that Buck Henry also played a part in a hoax that Andy Kaufman would have been proud of. SINA is the Society for the Indecency to Naked Animals and Henry played the part of the president; his main goal was to put clothes on all animals. Cats, dogs, horses, zoo animals had to be clothed to cover their nakedness. Unfortunately, that kill joy Cronkite exposed the hoax. I would make the edits, but I can't find any reliable refs. Anybody else remember this bizarre and absolutely funny hoax and has reliable refs? 96.238.237.103 (talk) 02:13, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I remember that. It really should be on the page. Here's a link to an article about it from Ripley's: https://www.ripleys.com/weird-news/clothing-nude-animals/ 65.68.190.167 (talk) 23:54, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
