Bryce WilliamsBryce Williams (rugby union) – Proposing to move this article and then redirect "Bryce Williams" to Murders of Alison Parker and Adam Ward#Perpetrator. There, a hat note can say ""Bryce Williams" redirects here. For the rugby union player, see Bryce Williams (rugby union)". Although it was a recent event, the infamy of the murderer of this name has reached a wider audience than the rugby player has ever had. This can be seen in the page views spike on Bryce Williams. Despite the fact that it is recent news, we have to admit that Google results for "Bryce Williams" are resoundingly for the murderer '''tAD''' (talk) 15:10, 28 August 2015 (UTC) Relisted. • Oppose. More than just a recent event, it was just two days ago. It is much, much too soon to declare that the murderer would be the primary topic by either of the two criteria. Additionally, Google searches are not a good way to determine primary topics (my favorite example of that is "galaxy" - Googling for that will get you a lot more information about phones than astronomy). • Comment. So as not to confuse the thousands of users who are landing on the wrong Bryce Williams, and to protect the rugby union player from further inappropriate association with the murder case, I have temporary enacted the move. This is not to be seen as a permanent move. Discussion can continue until proper consensus has formed - but we need not inconvenience users while we decide the appropriate course of action. I have turned Bryce Williams into a disamb page until a more permanent solution can be agreed. SilkTork ✔Tea time 10:27, 29 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose -- Per Egsan Bacon. Way too soon. -- Shudde talk 10:09, 30 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
