Bruce's first radio show?

Bruce mentioned on his 11/14/2006 show (first segment) that in 1975 he replaced Dave Marish's show which was called Dave Marrish On-Call. Bruce stated that his show was called Bruce Williams On Call, which is in conflict with what the radio hall of fame website mentions. Should the article be changed? Bruce doesn't look at the internet at all and dosen't know much about websites. I think if you called him and told him about this article, he would not understand.

How old is Bruce?

That would be fun to hear, since I was able to contribute some to the article. I would still like to see more about Bruce's military service and something about how old he actually is. Stivo 04:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Bruce mentioned that he shares a birthday with John Travolta the other day which is Feb 18. I don't know the year, but I'm guessing it's in the neighborhood of 1930 from some of the other history found on him. Stivo 13:57, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, Bruce's show is also podcasted on the Internet, so you could use the podcast as provided by Lifestyle Talk Radio Network (already linked from the article) and use the {{Cite podcast}}. Perhaps a better citation template to use would be {{Cite episode}} to cite the radio program directly. Please do use <ref> tags when citing. I added citations to the article. The jobs section would only ever be verifiable by Bruce himself, which he does frequently on his show. I would still be interested in some discussion as to how we can reference that in here properly.

Born 1932

I'm not comfortable going on that page alone for determining birth year, since it's inexact. High school graduation is not necessarily a good measure of age. SchuminWeb (Talk) 18:47, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Oh come, now. Maybe it's not necessarily a good measure that a person is EIGHTEEN, but they're almost certainly within two years of that, either side. I agree with SchuminWeb. The article cannot state that he was born in 1932 if we do not indeed know he was born in 1932. I am going to take that out of the article since is not known factually. Personally, I would love to know more information regarding his birthday and time spent in the military. We may not know any of that until after he is gone as he is very hush-hush regarding any age-related information. I have listened to Bruce for years and years. My assumption is that he does not disclose it in fear that his age, as opposed to his advice, might become a distraction to listeners. --Stivo (talk) 23:48, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

There is a Money magazine article from January 1, 1996 that states Williams is 63 - meaning he would have turned 63 sometime during 1995, so he had to have been born in 1932.

Plane Crash

"Maurice Tunick, Talknet creator and Executive Producer remembers the incident: “ "Bruce was critically injured and nearly clinically dead when he arrived at the Medical Center of Princeton. One week later he was back on the air from his hospital room and did his show from there for a week before he was released and originated his program from home for the next three months. We were told at the time this was the first national radio show to originate from a hospital.""

This contradicts the biography on Bruce's biography page that states it wasn't until 4 weeks after the crash that he was once again broadcasting.
