About the image edit

Hey BrendanInJersey, you've been repeatedly adding the uncropped image of Yuzna to the article. At least two editors disagree with this decision, as the image in the infobox is meant as a way to identify the subject per MOS:LEADIMAGE. The parts of the image that depict other people and the accompanying caption don't help in this purpose — there's a case to be made that using the uncropped image actually hampers this purpose. Please establish consensus for your changes in this discussion before editing it again. Thanks! TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 00:17, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

The uncropped image is clearly my photo. The cropped version was uploaded first but was not uploaded by me. I am merely exercising my privilege as the photo's rightful owner. Plus, there's a whole community of fans that enjoys the uncropped photo a lot more. BrendanInJersey (talk) 00:34, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure who the image belongs to, so I'm not going to comment on that. If you are the copyright holder for the image and another user has infringed on that, you can request help according to these instructions. However, being the copyright holder of the image does not give you any special powers over the usage of that image if you have released the rights under a free license — and if you uploaded the image to Wikimedia Commons, then you have. No one has ownership of any content added to Wikipedia. As I said earlier, please establish consensus for your changes here before adding the image yet again. Continuing to do so will be interpreted as edit-warring; there's more information about that in the notice on your talk page. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 01:02, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
"I'm not sure who the image belongs to, so I'm not going to comment on that."
How convenient for you.
Neither of you ever edited this page before now; I don't know why you're fighting me so hard. BrendanInJersey (talk) 01:20, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
because wikipedia is not a fan-site and not advertising your ego ( I just asume thats actually you besides brian?) because you made a thread at reddit/redlettermedia about you "updating" this site here to gain likes there;
https://old.reddit.com/r/RedLetterMedia/comments/16u3nhp/finally_updated_brian_yuznas_wiki_pic/
(and yes, Im a rlm-fan since 2012, but you are crossing a line here, especially with your snarky comments above on top.) Kulturbastardo (talk) 01:52, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
see it like that; your uncropped picture was at least for a whole day on top of the entry. you got your 15 minutes of fame at reddit and made 49 points. thats what you get for a stunt like this. and even cropped its still *your* photo which decorates this entry. what more do you want?
