Mid Kent Light Railway edit

Given the interesting history of the originally proposed Mid Kent Light Railway as outlined on the BWLR website[1] this article would benefit greatly with the addition of historical detail. In this regard I have contacted the railway for their assistance.--John Gibbard (talk) 11:28, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

What a wonderful tale. I suspect it would fall under the category of "Fictional Railways" however, especially given that I suspect the note "First published privately in April 1997" at the bottom of the page may indicate a publication date not far away from April 1st. 1997... Per this discussion I think this is simply an imaginary history intended to amuse the rail enthusiasts. It would be nice if BWLR came back with something to the contrary but I fear the railway is a 'new' installation built circa the 1970s. Dick G (talk) 00:54, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I can confirm, having visited the B&W many times, spoken to the staff, and even driven one of the locos (Katie), that the pre-history of the line is - sadly - entirely fictional! regards, Lynbarn (talk) 12:02, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
