Box-bed vs closed bed edit

I put a redirect from closed bed to box-bed. I don't know if the box-beds in Scotland are the same than the closed beds in Britanny. If not, fell free to write a specific page for box-bed. And I will replace my redirect in closed bed --Tangopaso (talk) 17:21, 25 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes they are the same I think. There's a nice picture of one on this page at a Shetland folk museum: http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/shetland/shetlandcrofthouse/index.html StrumStrumAndBeHanged (talk) 22:17, 12 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Grammar / poor sentence composition: edit

Sorry to disturb you, but can you expand on your earlier post?

I don't want to take the time to edit, but this entry is full of terrible errors and childish sentence structure. Would someone clean it up? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.90.54.1 (talkcontribs) 21:50, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Can you give some examples of the errors? Riordanmr (talk) 19:45, 31 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
That post was made in 2010 so don't hold your breath. EEng 22:15, 31 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Illustration: Etersheim - Etersheimer Braakmolen - bedstede.jpg edit

The illustration for the Netherlands box-bed is not of a box-bed. Looking at it in higher resolution, it's not a stand-alone piece of furniture, it's a chamber built into the wall of the room. It's more like a closet with a bed in it than anything else. IAmNitpicking (talk) 14:03, 23 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
