How about waiting a sec while I finish writing the damn page. The company owns a bunch of subsidieries, and tons of patents. I saw it in Popular Science like 4 years ago, which almost speaks for itself as assertion of importance. Why don't you try searching for media coverage before you tag something for speedy? I've asserted significance (the efficiency thing) and sourced it. A7 no longer holds. Fresheneesz 22:17, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Criteria for companies and corporations edit

REF: WP:CORP

A company or corporation is notable if it meets any of the following criteria:

  1. The company or corporation has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the company or corporation itself.
    • This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, books, television documentaries, and published reports by consumer watchdog organizations2 except for the following:
      • Media reprints of press releases, other publications where the company or corporation talks about itself, and advertising for the company.1
      • Works carrying merely trivial coverage, such as newspaper articles that simply report extended shopping hours or the publications of telephone numbers and addresses in business directories.
  2. The company or corporation is listed on ranking indices of important companies produced by well-known and independent publications.3
  3. The company's or corporation's share price is used to calculate stock market indices.4 Being used to calculate an index that simply comprises the entire market is excluded.

I do not find that this criteria has been met. I also suggest you review WP:CIVIL. The tone of your commeny on my talk page as well as this talk page does not demonstrate that you WP:AGF on my part. Jerry lavoie 22:22, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've provided multiple non-trivial sources... What more do you want? I'm sorry about my tone, but I don't like having to defend my work when its extremely easy to go and find sources for it. Suggesting a speedy delete while i'm working on it is not very good tact. I'll assume good faith, but don't try to delete my work based on shaky reasoning like A7 - i've asserted significance. Please put this up on WP:AfD so that this can be setteled. Fresheneesz 22:33, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Firstly, thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I am not interested in being your foe. I had no way to know you were editing the article. If you feel strongly that this article meets the notability criteria, I'll back off.Jerry lavoie 22:47, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

As the company has been covered by Motor Trend magazine (www.MotorTrend.com/features/editorial/112_0901_flying_hybrids_technologue/index.html), Airforce-Techonology.com (www.Airforce-Technology.com/features/feature74127/) and other publications (like Air Transportation World) have covered a subsidiary that liscences it's techonology, I think the company is notable. Subsidiary merge-ins edit

Chorus Motors and Wheeltug should be merged to here. Other subsidiaries already redirect to here. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 20:06, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
