Q1: Why does the article not consider Bongbong Marcos as a graduate of a degree at Oxford University?
A1: A large amount of material and Oxford University themselves have stated that Bongbong Marcos did not graduate with a full degree and was only given a special diploma. Q2: Why does this article use Rappler as a source of information?
A2: Rappler is considered a reliable source according to the consensus of multiple discussions about Rappler on the reliable sources noticeboard (see discussions 1, 2, and 3). This however, does not include Rappler's Voices section, which contains crowdsourced opinion pieces. As such, articles from Rappler's other sections do not pose any issues with the article's neutral point of view or Wikipedia's policy on original research. |
This page is not a forum for general discussion about Bongbong Marcos. Any such comments may be removed or refactored. Please limit discussion to improvement of this article. You may wish to ask factual questions about Bongbong Marcos at the Reference desk. |
Please stay calm and civil while commenting or presenting evidence, and do not make personal attacks. Be patient when approaching solutions to any issues. If consensus is not reached, other solutions exist to draw attention and ensure that more editors mediate or comment on the dispute. |

He did not win by a landslide. This is biased speech right in the opening paragraph and is not supported by the source. I understand that Pope administered nations are preferred to have dictators as the leadership (see Spain), but this doesnt mean you can just use Orwellian speech.95.171.194.45 (talk) 04:47, 1 May 2023 (UTC)

Remove "kleptocrat and dictator" from leade paragraph. Not WP:NPOV 207.96.32.81 (talk) 14:23, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- Not done: That isn't what WP:NPOV means. The first sentence in the policy states:
neutral point of view [...] means representing fairly, proportionately, and, as far as possible, without editorial bias, all the significant views that have been published by reliable sources on a topic.
Reliable sources call Ferdinand Marcos a kleptocrat and dictator, and so that is what is written here. Tollens (talk) 20:12, 1 October 2023 (UTC)- Which sources? President is an agreed on all reliable sources. This is clearly WP:BIAS207.96.32.81 (talk) 23:17, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
