I hope everyone thinks this looks a bit better now, or at least, provides a sounder foundation to build on. --71.112.74.71 12:48, 19 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Did Vosloo really provide the voice? edit

Did Vosloo really voice the main character? He's listed as the voice on IMDB, but I distinctly recognize the guy's voice as the same as the voice of the main character from Bet on Soldier, which I'm darn sure ain't Vosloo.

Maybe he voiced the French version, or something.

B-class to Start-class edit

Sorry, but I don't think this article is B-class. Here's why:

  • No citations. It looks like you've put some material in "External links" instead of using them to verify statements; this is a common error. See WP:CITE#HOW.
  • Weapon and vehicle lists are unencyclopedic as per WP:NOT#GUIDE. Remove them.
  • The remaining prose in the "Weapons" and "Vehicles" sections should be re-written and merged into the gameplay section. A simple note that there are many melee and ranged weapons should do (if the weapons are based on real-world guns/knives etc mention this briefly with a citation). Likewise, simply mention there are several modes of transport, that cars are the only form of transport at the start and that the names are fake (details about getting access to planes/boats - taking lessons and such - are unnecessary).
  • Factions list needs to be converted to prose.
  • Many of the paragraphs in "Plot synopsis" are quite short - consider merging some of them to reduce the chopiness and improve the readability.
  • You'll need a couple of screenshots, although the number really depends on the size of the articles.
  • For any screenshots, and the box image, you'll need Fair Use Rationales. See WP:FURG.
  • The "premise" section seems unnecessary, as this information is given later on in the article.
  • The lead should be longer. See WP:LS.
  • "Censorship/goofs" section needs to be converted to prose.
  • You might want to remove some of the external links. See WP:EL.
  • "Critical reception" should be expanded, and you might want to look into writing a "development" section. Look at the relevant sections in some Video Game Featured articles for ideas.

Hope this helps, UnaLaguna 09:10, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:BoilingPointCover.jpg edit

Image:BoilingPointCover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Changelog edit

Quotes from the changelog are quite popular on TVTropes and so forth, but they seem to have been the result of Chinese whispers; the actual text is relatively sensible (e.g. "animation of the jaguar is more realistic" rather than "jaguar floats across screen at treetop level", "Grenades explode before NPC die" rather than "npc die on contact with grenades, and not from the actual explosion"), although there are a lot of bugs. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 11:20, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Lukewarm - Language edit

What the hell does lukewarm means? Is it good or bad? It makes no sense to use this kind of language here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.93.212.93 (talk) 17:55, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
