i think the statement that simpson was a wide receiver for the rough riders needs to be checked. i remember him more as a tight end. he was too big and slow for a wide-out.Toyokuni3 (talk) 17:56, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Good point. According to his profile at CFHOF, his awards include:

ALL-EASTERN END . . . . . .1951, 1956 AND 1959

ALL-EASTERN FLYING WING . . . . .1952 AND 1953

ALL-EASTERN RUNNING BACK . . . . . . . . .1957

ALL-EASTERN DEFENSIVE BACK . . . 1957 AND 1958
