I really don't think it is as simple as that. Google has not yet been added to the canon of scripture. The very nature of the internet means that any google search containing the word 'girl' is likely to throw up a large number of hits. There may also be a cultural issue here. Most google links are to US sites, not UK ones. 'Boat bearer' may be used on one side of the Atlantic, but, while understood, it would be considered a rather pompous term in churches in the UK and Ireland where 'boat boy' and 'boat girl' are used interchangeably according to the gender of the operator. "Boat person' suggested by someone else, would only be used in a humourously 'politically correct' way here. Keep 'boat bearer' as well, but don't remove 'boat girl' which is a widely used term here, and, in this context has nothing to do with beaches or bikinis.

- Fair play, I will add boat girl back. The article cited on the page in the reference section uses "boat bearer". I have never heard Boat person in use. Perhaps it is the Atlantic as bearer IS in common use over here. What fun! -- SECisek 05:46, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
