Blue Ant to blue ant redirect- No! (+ disambig)

edit

Following the conventions of the English language, I'd think the proper noun version (capitalized) should point to an article about the company Blue Ant, which makes audio equipment, and the lowercase version should point to the insect. --Nil0lab 02:30, 29 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK, actually, having read the "trivia" at the bottom of blue ant (though I have to say that term is *not* NPOV, at least to the people in the companies mentioned), I see that there's more than one proper noun Blue Ant, so clearly the Blue Ant should be a disambig page. --Nil0lab 21:20, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Is BlueAnt a play on Bluetooth Antenna? Chris Murphy 05:27, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

why the founding dates

edit

I added the founding dates for the companies because this shows that both of the real-world companies might (there is no direct proof) have got their names from the fictional one. It might be of some interest to people interested in these companies, Gibson's works, or the influence of cultural texts in the real world in general. Please don't delete this information unless you find a better page to include it, thanks. --Oop (talk) 18:07, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
