Cemetery Location?

I am going to post this identical comment at both the article on "Black Oak, White River Township, Washington County, Arkansas" and at the article "Black Oak Cemetery" because I don't know which article is wrong but one of them must be. The locations for the subjects of these two articles simply don't match up. Both the latitude/longitude positions and the verbal language used to describe these two places indicate them being dozens of miles apart. One of them is southeast of Greenland between it and Elkins and the other one is southwest of Greenland between Greenland and Prairie Grove. It seems so far that there's no way possible for Black Oak Township to "contain" the Black Oak Cemetery.74.64.104.99 (talk) 03:03, 30 June 2019 (UTC)Christopher L. Simpson

There is a disagreement between the coordinates given in the article (which may come from a device held in the hand of someone at the site) and Google-maps. The coordinates given in the article are 35°58′48″N 94°13′44″W, which, when fed into Google-maps, become "35.98, -94.22888_". Google-maps (which may be wrong, since its software may fail to lay down the images in perfect alignment) pinpoints that spot within a plot of privately-owned land that surrounds the nearly-square cemetery property on three of its four sides (although cemetery visitors may have an easement through the power-lines' right-of-way or maybe just because the landowner is decent). That pinpoint is south of the cemetery, east of but even north/south with a pond on that property. If instead you submit "35.981890, -94.229266" to Google-maps, the pinpoint ends up just north of one of the stone-walled squares (remains of a mausoleum?) that is the only feature that clearly identifies this as THE cemetery in aerial view. (Washington County Courthouse property-maps confirm that this place is owned by "Cemetery a.k.a. Black Oak".) The headstones that can be recognized (from the satellite's shot) are south and west (down and left) of this stone-walled square. An Excel spreadsheet says this is 35°58′54.804″N 94°13′45.358″W and Google-maps doesn't disagree. Sources differ as to the best way to get to the cemetery (north from Illinois Chapel Road (County Road 20) or south from West Jeter Road) but all are wrong. There is no best route. Modified the coordinates to fit what is in the NHRP application and the topography (relative flat spot) per the USGS West Fork, AR 7.5 Minute topographic quadrangle. May not be exact, but surely closer. Vsmith (talk) 22:29, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
