Hello I'm Candace and I have been assigned to expand on the Black Belt Jones Wikipedia page. My edits will include an expansion of the introduction, plot, and reception of the film. I will also be adding sections on; background, martial arts in Blaxploitation films, race and the black power movement, and the soundtrack. My sources are scholarly approved articles, film reviews, and the film itself. This is my first Wikipedia Entry, so I will be open and understanding of any critiques and/or editing advice.
