Please, please, bummer is not supposed to redirect here. Makes no sense. I wouldn't care, except that a friend of mine continually uses the word, and I should like to see the various meanings for it on Wikipedia (which surely must exist). Thanks.

there is a mistake in the text. "Black bumer" by Seryoga is NOT on the soundtrack to this movie. Check the soundtrack section at IMDB.

English translation of the original title

The original title of the movie is Бумер.

The word "Бумер" in Russian is a slang name for a BMW-brand car. It is quite exact equivalent of the word "Bummer" in English.

So - providing that western distributor(s) did NOT alter the title for English-speaking markets - the correct English translation of original title Бумер should be Bummer (not Bumer, Boomer or anything else)!

The DVD from amazon for PAL5 region is Bimmer. The NTSC version is given as Bummer/Bumer. Note only 1 m. That is because it is a direct transliteration of the letters Бумер 86.44.71.5 (talk) 11:06, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
