post credits scene

There is a post credit scene not listed in the plot summary in which elderly Bill and Ted in a nursing home decide to rock out one last time. Post credit scenes have become standard and expected. People are certainly coming to Wikipedia to learn if they exist in a film they watch. I personally check while still in theatres before leaving. I believe it should be included. 222.153.34.177 (talk) SomeGuyThatCantRememberHisPassword

Please see WP:FILMPLOT, which says: The plot summary is an overview of the film's main events, so avoid minutiae like dialogue, scene-by-scene breakdowns, individual jokes, and technical detail. The post-credits scene is a throwaway joke, not a main event necessary to understand the plot. Additionally, whether the scene is placed before, during or after the credits is an editing detail that has nothing to do with the plot.

You might personally find it useful or interesting to read about post-credit scenes on Wikipedia, but that doesn't mean it's appropriate here - for example, many people might find cooking recipes, video game walkthroughs or travel guides useful and informative, but Wikipedia isn't the right place for that sort of content. I checked Wikipedia to see if there was a post-credit scene, saw no mention of it and left before the end...looked on the talk page after the movie and saw that there was a post-credit scene! Don't think of it as that then...think of it as the final flourish or finale of a plot; or possibly be guided by precedent, for example the popular Marvel movies whose plot summaries do include this information. 203.57.136.6 (talk) 05:20, 18 October 2020 (UTC)

According to an interview from about 5 days ago. Mark Oliver Everett (of The Eels) mentioned in an interview that he makes a small appearance as himself near the end.

Thinking about adding this to the home media section.

On that same day (November 10), a 3-Film Collection DVD and Blu-ray set were released; consisting of all three films in the trilogy. The Blu-ray, in particular, reuses existing prints to Excellent Adventure (2012 print from 20th Century Studios Home Entertainment) and Bogus Journey (2018 print from Shout! Factory).
