BGE logo for Info Box edit

I uploaded a logo of BGE for the info box and it was automatically removed stating that non-free content can only be used in articles. Can someone with a better understanding of this let me know how it would be possible to get the company logo in the infobox without going to war over it? A.S. Cleaning up this article edit

I believe that the company is notable enough to have an article on Wikipedia. The reason for this is that the company is widely known and is responsible for the introduction and popularization of kamado-style ceramic grills to the American market. This has spawned competitors and competing products from companies such as Weber. Having reviewed this article, I've deleted information that reads like a sales brochure to refocus it on the company itself and basic details about its history. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for helping me out with this. A.S. Williams (talk) 03:30, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm not well versed in wikipedia policies, but it looks like this is an advertisement, it even includes a prices section. If you look at the history, you'll notice it used to mention competitor products. Someone with a clue should take a look. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.51.144.118 (talk) 04:38, 3 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

 I agree. This is nothing but an advertisement.--71.36.99.75 (talk) 23:00, 14 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

I've tried to clean it up and improve it a little bit. Mr Ernie (talk) 10:24, 5 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Very Biased edit

This whole article is certainly an advertisement like the other guy said. Just read the very first section and tell me it doesn't sound like something from a text box in an advertisement. Someone has definitely been paid to edit this article to say nothing but great things about this product. This needs to change — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dkyguy1995 (talkcontribs) 21:56, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well to be honest it is a great product. If reliable sources don't have anything negative to say we can't just make things up. Personally my only criticism would be it is somewhat expensive, but then again you get what you pay for. In this case you get a cooking device that can't help but make great food ;). Speedy Deletion edit

This article merits speedy deletion as it is exclusively promotional in nature. If you check the history and other topics here on the Talk page, people have been complaining about it for years. There have been attempts to improve the page, but even now most of the sources are from the company's own website. According to the History, this page was created as part of a Facebook marketing campaign. Please delete. If it fails speedy, I'll put it up for PRD. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Just Another Cringy Username (talkcontribs) 21:05, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Well, if the iPhone article was written in a promotional manner by Apple, then I would agree that it should be modified/rewritten. But, as it is a real product, the article certainly should not be deleted. Same with this. It is a real product, after all.
I wanted to find out more about what this is, and even in its current state, the article was helpful. 2A02:1210:8014:F600:88CD:208A:B0C2:9796 (talk) 19:58, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
