Doo-wop?

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website does not clearly state whether or not "Big Girls Don't Cry" is a doo-wop song. And plus, it isn't a reliable source; some of their "facts" are just plain wrong. The Four Seasons were never a doo-wop group, and therefore none of the songs they recorded are styled as doo-wop. And I have another message for User:BrightRoundCircle: QUIT stalking me and scrutinizing my edits!!!!! Classicalfan626 (talk) 13:03, 29 January 2017 (UTC)

I wasn't stalking you; I checked your recent contributions to see if you'd replied to me on some other page, and found that yet again you removed a reliable source with an improper reason. If the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame isn't a reliable source regarding genres of rock music, what is? Additionally, the claim that "Big Girls Don't Cry" is a doo-wop song appears in many other sources: Encyclopedia of Music in the 20th Century by Lol Henderson (p. 224), The Beatles' Second Album by Dave Marsh (p. 87), Music USA: The Rough Guide by Richie Unterberger (p. 25), and dozens more reliable sources. In short cite your claim because all the provided sources negate your claim. For me as a bystander, your repeated removal of sourced information looks like vandalism. Liar! How could you have noticed that I deleted those references without looking that deeply into it? Yes, the song may have traces of doo-wop encrypted into it, but that doesn't mean it's a doo-wop song. Compared to many other songs of the era, songs that are actually doo-wop, the song does not sound like a doo-wop song by any stretch of the imagination. If there is some definitive proof that the song is doo-wop, I suggest you cite sources more directly and be more specific, or you can continue looking like a jerk.
