Plot summary too long? edit

I don't think the plot summary is too long or excessively detailed. Why is it too long or excessively detailed? --Nbauman (talk) 01:23, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

I came back to this page because I was using the movie to describe an example of copyright law, and I see that the summary has been shortened to the point that it deletes many important issues.
You may not be interested in the libel suit, but I am, and many other people are. Wikipedia is not a TV Guide digest. Some people use it for serious academic purposes when they need information about popular culture.
You also deleted such details as the name of the club -- the Hungry i. That was an important jazz club. If Keane hadn't exhibited in the Hungry i, nobody would have paid attention.
The summary was shortened without consensus and without discussion in Talk. That alone would justify reverting the summary to the longest version. --Nbauman (talk) 17:47, 2 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
