Plot summary too long? edit
I don't think the plot summary is too long or excessively detailed. Why is it too long or excessively detailed? --Nbauman (talk) 01:23, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
- I came back to this page because I was using the movie to describe an example of copyright law, and I see that the summary has been shortened to the point that it deletes many important issues.
- You may not be interested in the libel suit, but I am, and many other people are. Wikipedia is not a TV Guide digest. Some people use it for serious academic purposes when they need information about popular culture.
- You also deleted such details as the name of the club -- the Hungry i. That was an important jazz club. If Keane hadn't exhibited in the Hungry i, nobody would have paid attention.
- The summary was shortened without consensus and without discussion in Talk. That alone would justify reverting the summary to the longest version. --Nbauman (talk) 17:47, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
