Copyright violation edit
I've just removed nearly all of this article, which was copied verbatim from CNN's website. Copying text from a commercial website is a copyright violation and is against Wikipedia policy. Feel free to reintroduce this information in your own words and incorporating other sources of information. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 21:56, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Nguyễn or Nguyen? edit
Someone's moved this page to "Betty Nguyễn". Is there any evidence whatsoever that she spells her name this way? Her official bio on CNN, [1], certainly does not. Unless there's an authoritative source showing that she spells her name this way, the move should be reverted. TJRC (talk) 20:51, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Why is her last name Vietnamese if her father was American? It doesn't sound like her father abandoned her. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.231.141.99 (talk) 20:50, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- I am guessing cause her father was the rebellious type, like many during the 70s, and the family decided to go with the mother's last name. I would say the choice did pretty well for her, makes people curious about her heritage. --Voidvector (talk) 09:05, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Quotes in reference section edit
The references appear to be formatted incorrectly for this article, because you can see all those unnecessary quotes there. If someone has the opportunity please clean them up. Tweisbach (talk) 07:32, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
No longer on CNN edit
Why in the world would CNN not renew her contract?! She was perfect for weekend mornings - so sexual and upbeat and playful
BN Magazine edit
I've removed it from the external links. In case someone wants to use it as a reference, here's an archived version: https://web.archive.org/web/20060615221128/http://www.bnmagazine.com/article_detail.php?art_id=106 --Ronz (talk) 21:35, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

Review of refs edit
I started reviewing all the references, tracking down archives as needed. More to do. --Ronz (talk) 21:15, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
Awards edit
Unless secondary, independent sources can be found, I don't think any of the awards are worth noting beyond the Emmy. --Ronz (talk) 23:56, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
Fled Vietnam in April 1975 edit
Why is this sourced information repeatedly being removed? --Ronz (talk) 16:05, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
As an addendum, an IP had repeatedly posted her place of birth as Ho Chi Minh City. She fled [[Saigon[[ during the Fall of Saigon. The name was Saigon the entire time of her (infancy) residence there. The renaming of the city occurred after her departure. Wikipedia is consistent. We report places of birth and residence based on the names of the places at the time. People were born in the Soviet Union, though they might now live in one of the countries that resulted from its breakup. Trackinfo (talk) 20:13, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

What is not neutral in this entry? Seems matter of fact to me.--WatchingContent (talk) 22:17, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
