Review edit

Hello, I will be reviewing the article and making some recommendations:

  1. The article should have a fuller {{Infobox film}} template. You can click the aforementioned link, copy the template, and paste it into the article. You can follow the guidelines on the template's page.
  2. In the lead section, it is recommended to use "film" instead of "movie" whenever possible. Wikipedia sees "movie" as too casual in most cases.
  3. The "Plot" and "Cast" sections look good! Plot summaries can be between 400-700 words, but I think it's fine to have the current length for this stub article for now.
  4. For the "Reception" section, I recommend trying to find a retrospective report of how critics received the film. Once you can do that, you can sample critics' opinions to give readers an idea of what they said about the film. For reviews, here are The New York Times, The Chicago Sun-Times, and The Washington Post. If you know French and are familiar with French-language sources, I strongly encourage you to include them! A challenge with foreign-language films on Wikipedia is to use non-English sources in their articles.
  5. I recommend providing some information about the film's production or themes. Since this film is too old to have a lot of Internet coverage, your best chance is to look in Google News Search and Google Books Search. (If you can search these in French and report the coverage in English here, even better!) You can combine the title with names of people involved. For example, you could search for betty "Claude Chabrol".

I'll be happy to help with anything. Let me know if you have any questions! Erik (talk | contribs) 13:29, 23 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
